Where to find the Rotten Bee Armor in Grounded

How to craft a Busting Tool in Grounded

In Grounded you’re going to be hunting down a variety of different crafting materials and recipes. One of the harder sets of items to get is the Rotten Bee Armor. This strong defense is quite useful, but not very easy to get to. The interesting thing is that there do not appear to be bees in the game. And it doesn’t look like they will be added just yet. So instead, you have to hunt down chunks of a bee. Despite the name, the bee armor is still worth finding in Grounded.

This is one of just many different items that can be found or crafted in the game. You will want to rush for the Tier II tools for a start. You will need to hunt Ladybugs, Spiders and other bugs to find the parts you need for them as well. To craft these items you will also need a Workbench. The next goal you should take on is building a house and setting your respawn points.

There are three parts of the Rotten Bee Armor that you need to gather.

  • Rotten Bee Face Mask
  • Rotten Bee Shin Guards
  • Rotten Bee Shoulder Pads

The first part of the armor set is down inside of an anthill later in the game, and you have to go fetch it. The armor set is broken into three parts and each one is found at a different point down in those tunnels. Use the image below to find out where to start looking on the map for the cave. The caves down below the start point are filled with Ants, so be sure to bring armor, food, and a good weapon or two to take them on.
