Warframe has a ton of different mechanics, and there’s a lot of depth to them as well. New and veteran players alike will feel lost when booting into the game and trying to figure out what the heck is going on. So to help, we’re writing another guide on some of the basics that should help inexperienced players feel less lost. We’re back once again here at ISKMogul with yet another Warframe guide.
Our newest guide is another that lays out the process and materials to farm for, and construct, another Warframe in this chaotic shooter. Warframe’s Nova is the latest entry in our growing collection of Warframe guides. Nova is a powerful option for general use. Her CC abilities make her pretty tanky. The Wormhole and Null Star abilities offer great options for many different enemies.
Getting the Blueprints for Nova in Warframe are kind of a pain, since they involve one of the tougher bosses in the game for newer players. Check out our guide for the mission and how to take down the Raptors. The Raptor boss assassination mission drops the component blueprints, and you buy the main Nova blueprint from the Market for 35,000 Credits.
- Alloy Plate: Venus, Sedna, Jupiter, Ceres, Pluto, and Phobos
- Ferrite: Mercury, Earth, Neptune, and Orokin Void.
- Salvage: Mars, Jupiter and Sedna
- Rubedo: Earth, Europa, Phobos, Sedna, Pluto, and Orokin Void
The rare drops are a bit harder to get. You can also get Morphics (Hellas and Gradivus on Mars) and Plastids. Polymer Bundle is also a very common drop. Control Modules are a bit harder to get, but a pretty common drop once you get deep enough into the Star Chart. They can be reliably obtained from a variety of sources. The Neural Sensors come primarily form Kuva missions and nodes on Jupiter. You also need an Orokin Cell to complete the build once you have assembled all of the components. You should have plenty of those as long as you have been judicious about cracking loot chests and deposits while progressing through the Star Chart.
Now let’s break down exactly how much of each resource you need to construct Nova. The resources needed are all fairly common all across the Star Chart.
Chassis
- 15,000 Credits
- 1 Morphics
- 1,000 Ferrite
- 300 Rubedo
Neuroptics
- 15,000 Credits
- 150 Alloy Plate
- 1 Neural Sensor
- 150 Polymer Bundle
- 500 Rubedo
Systems
- 15,000 Credits
- 1 Control Module
- 1 Morphics
- 500 Salvage
- 600 Plastids
Once you have all the Blueprints and materials, head to the Foundry and start building. Although remember, it’s going to take time. Nova is a fun frame to play with, so if you want it, use your Plat to rush the construction if you can spare it. Also, check to make sure you have an open slot before beginning the build.
