Farming for resources is a big part of the gameplay loop in Warframe. There is so much crafting to do in this game, with all of the weapons and other gear to make, that you will be doing a lot of farming. Farming the right node on the Star Chart with a good build can really help. Follow our recommendations for where to look to speed up your farming.
There are generally three classes of loot drops when farming to worry about as well. Rubedo in Warframe is uncommon within the various loot tables, but at least it is relatively common across the Star Chart. It’s not hard to find and can be easily farmed in small quantities in the early game. There are some problems with it though.
The first thing you need to know is that you will need a literal ton of Rubedo to craft all of the different weapons and Warframes in this game. And since you need so much of it, there’s a need to focus on the most rewarding missions to get the most efficient farming. You can get small amounts of Rubedo and other resources using the Harvesters on the Star Chart, but this won’t be enough for high-level crafting.
Where to farm Rubedo in Warframe (2021)
There are many different planets to target when farming Rubedo. Just playing the game will give you a trickle of the resource across various planets. Here’s the breakdown of some of the common missions to use when farming Rubedo in Warframe:
- Phobos
- Earth
- Pluto
- Europa
- Sedna
- Orokin Void
Zeugma on Phobos is a Dark Sector mission, making it the optimum target for farming Rubedo in Warframe. This mission will yield approximately 250 Rubedo per 5-minute rotation. The Orokin Void Defense missions are a more general target for generic farms, although to get any decent amounts of Rubedo, you need a buff to resource drops.
To help speed up farming, bring a Hydroid with Pilfering Swarm or Nekros with Desecrate, or another similar build that helps increase item drop rates and resource drops. The Smeeta Kavat’s double pickup/affinity Charm buff will also double these drops too. Bring these elements to your team farming runs to really generate a ton of crafting mats.
