Will Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 have split screen?

Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 + 2

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 is coming out soon, bringing a bunch of beloved sports nostalgia pouring back. The remastered project has both of the first two games in a single bundle, which gives players access to all of the skaters, courses and tricks they know and love. That may be Activision and a new developer trying to make up for the mess that was Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5, but it’s still nice to see.

So considering that all of the older elements from the first two games are coming back, older fans have some questions. Namely, will players be able to enjoy split-screen as they did back in the day? Let’s find out.

According to the recent announcement for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2, there will be split-screen. Having the game come back with all of the elements that players loved from the original two games is great. The older games featured full split-screen play across all of the various courses in the game. Players could play together on their own console, without the need for having multiple consoles networked together.

And yes, players will also be able to enjoy online play as well in addition to the full split-screen. Gamers can expect a full rework of the classic visuals, a new soundtrack and a bunch of new and improved tricks and gameplay modes.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+ 2 will release for PlayStation 4, the Epic Games Store, and Xbox One on September 4th. If you preorder the game, you will receive a playable demo of Warehouse, the very first level from the first game in the series.
