Assassin’s Creed Odyssey: live event canceled, again

Assassin's Creed Odyssey

Another week means another live event in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey that was supposed to go live. The in-game events featuring Epic Mercenary encounters, and in this case, Damais the Indifferent isn’t showing up once again after being cancelled once again.

Ubisoft cites an undisclosed technical issue that keeps the event and the related NPC from functioning. The company promises to work on resolving the underlying issue, although no timeline has been given for when that might happen and when these events will return.

There is some good news however, other in-game events aren’t facing the same issues that are keeping the Live Mercenary events from working. Last week’s Black Wind Epic Ship event went off as planned. Similarly, a new naval-based live event around a ship called The Tyrant is planned to go live next week.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is available now for PS4, Xbox One and PC. If you’re already got the game and are struggling with advancing, check out our guide for farming resources, or maybe you need help farming that shiny Drachmae.
