Microsoft announces Xbox Game Pass for PC

As we reported before, there was plenty of suspicion that Xbox Game Pass would be getting one helluva RPG addition with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. It turns out that those rumors were spot-on as the RPG is in fact coming to Xbox Game Pass next month. This is in addition to the already great games on the service, numbering well over 100 now.

The massive 100-hour RPG is legendary for multiple reasons. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt The game has won nearly 1,000 different awards for its massive world, incredible characters and engaging story. That’s all in addition to the very positive fan reaction and critical reception. Geralt of Rivia is coming to begin hunting monsters once again, giving millions of gamers the chance to relive his awesome adventures.

Console and Ultimate plan subscribers will be able to download and play the title at no additional cost, as it will be a full inclusion to the on-demand service. The Xbox One version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will join the Xbox Game Pass library of games on December 19th, 2019. The title is also available for purchase right now in both retail and digital formats for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.

In other X019 news, there have been a ton of new games announced, as well as a bunch more Xbox One ports confirmed. Dontnod is working on a new episodic game called Tell Me Why that tells the story of growing up transgender. There’s also a new IP from Rare called Everwild that has quite the interesting style. Sega has teamed up with Microsoft to bring several Yakuza games to the Xbox, and even Squre Enix gets in on the fun with multiple Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy titles being ported to the Xbox One.
