Bandai Namco just wrapped a livestream for Jump Force to showcase the multiplayer gameplay. During the course of this stream, we get to see a variety of characters in action. There’s characters from all of the various anime and manga properties within Jump Force. Most of those shown are also those characters which are part of the open beta that just kicked off. Pretty much all of the characters announced for the roster so far are part of the current open beta.

If you want to see some more characters in action, there’s plenty to gawk at in other trailers. During TGS 2018, characters from Yu Yu Hakusho and Hunter X Hunter were revealed. Yugi Moto from Yu-Gi-Oh! was another addition to be unveiled after that. Another recent character source was the Rurouni Kenshin property. And that’s just the beginning.
Jump Force will launch for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on February 15. If you’d like to pre-order the game, and snag yourself some nice bonuses, you can do so right now on Amazon. Check out the section of the livestream showing multiplayer gameplay down below.
But that wasn’t all that Bandai Namco had in store for this stream. There was also a short teaser which hinted at the inclusion of two of teh most-requested fighters which fans are clamoring to see. Who are these beloved missing characters you ask?
Well, while Bandai Namco didn’t outright confirm it, the fan speculation seems to lean pretty heavily in the direction of two major characters from the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure canon. Namely, the two principal characters of the first series, Dio and Jotaro.
For those that didn’t know JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is a long-running manga series known for incredibly over-the-top characters which use special and increasingly weird supernatural powers, called Stands. The plot revolves around the exploits of various generations of the Joestar family, and it gets really strange almost immediately. Don’t believe me that JoJo is absurd? Well what would you call something featuring origami imbued with life doing battle with time-controlling mecha wizards, all while surrounded by insane characters who can do things like turning metal into mass-murdering balloon animals? And no, I’m not kidding, those are three of the many Stands from the series.
The actual teaser isn’t much, but you can still find it below.
