During Tokyo Game Show this past week Bandai Namco had a ton of new announcements for their upcoming anime fighting game, Jump Force.
New characters have been announced with a brand new IP, Yu Yu Hakusho, bringing forth Yusuke Urameshi and Toguro. Two more characters will come for Hunter X Hunter, Kirua and Kurapika. We also get to see Yugi Moto from Yu-Gi-Oh! in action as he uses Duel Monsters in battle.
The trailer also showcases some of the character customization options in the game. Players will be able to create a completely custom avatar, and then take that new character through the story via the Jump Force hub world. Speaking of stages and worlds, the trailers also tease a new fight stage based on the real world Himeji Castle.
And it may not need to be restated, but I’m going to anyway, man this game is pretty.
Jump Force is set to launch for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in February 2019. Check out the newest gameplay footage from TGS 2018 down below. In other news, you could check out more gameplay from the event this past week, as well as details about the Collector’s Edition that will grace consoles.
