Check out the announcement trailer for the Switch version down below.
OPUS: The Day We Found Earth takes place millions of years in the future, after mankind has left its home planet of Earth far behind. Emeth, a robot who many find to be quite adorable, has promised his creator that he will rediscover their lost homeland in order to save all of humanity. As he begins to fulfill this promise, he starts to realize that he may hold a promise even greater.
As you scan the skies for the long-lost Earth with your deep space telescope, you are almost certain to discover other untold secrets. You will also need to investigate your ship itself in order to uncover the history of a centuries-old mission item while exploring the universe, which is positively teeming with vivid and vibrant planets, nebulas, and galaxies for you to discover.
The second title in the collection is OPUS: Rocket of Whispers. This game tells the story of two lonely survivors of an apocalyptic plague as they are given a seemingly impossible task. This task is for the duo to build an interstellar rocket, with the goal of reviving the ancient tradition of space burial. They also wish to return the lost souls of the world to their cosmic homeland. OPUS: Rocket of Whispers provides a tale of loss and rebirth that aims to leave the player breathless, with writing by the IMGA-nominated author of OPUS: The Day We Found Earth.
As you struggle to build this rocket, you will need to travel through the ruins of your frozen world, discovering the history of this once prosperous land as you do so. In addition to creating the rocket, you will need to craft various tools in order to explore greater distances, uncovering more than 100 items.
