Diablo III: Eternal Collection is getting a Switch bundle

Blizzard and Nintendo have announced a new partnership for Diablo III: Eternal Collection. The fruits of this collaboration come in the form of another new hardware bundle for the Nintendo Switch.

This Diablo-themed console bundle follows the layout setup by bundles for other games, like Pokémon: Let’s Go Pikachu! and Eevee!, by including a stenciled dock with images relevant to the game. In this bundle we get artwork featuring some angelic and devilish characters on said dock. The price also gets gamers a themed carrying case and a download code for the full game collection.

The Switch version of the Diablo 3: Eternal Collection includes a few Nintendo-exclusive items: the Ganondorf armor set, Cucco pet and golden Triforce portrait frame. The game includes the original Diablo 3 campaign and its expansions, Reaper of Souls and Rise of the Necromancer.

The companies also released a trailer showcasing the limited console bundle. You can view said trailer down below. It’s exclusive to GameStop and will retail for $359.99. You’ll be able to pick it up on November 2.

In other news, a recent response from Blizzard has squashed rumors that Diablo 3: Eternal Collection would be getting crossplay features. While we love the idea of bringing our players together across platforms, we do not have any plans to implement cross-platform gameplay for Diablo at this time,’ said a Blizzard rep in a statement to ComicBook.

Diablo III: Eternal Collection is hitting Nintendo Switch as a general release on November 2. The game is already out on PS4 and Xbox One.
