Boruto Joins The Cast of Jump Force

Bandai Namco has revealed yet another new character coming to Jump Force, their upcoming crossover anime fighting title.

Boruto Uzumaki will be joining the roster alongside multiple other characters from the popular manga/anime. Boruto is the son of Naruto and Hinata, who later becomes the star of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. Following the events of  Naruto Shippuden, the adventures of the Hidden Leaf continue, and they’re just as campy and cheesy as ever.

Boruto Uzumaki, Kaguya Ôtsutsuki, Gaara, and Kakashi Hatake were also revealed in VJump Magazine’s March 2019 issue, which confirmed the inclusion of these characters in the game. So you Naruto fans out there will have plenty of choice and some pretty cool characters to mess around with when the game hits stores next month.

I’m personally a fan of Kaguya as the character is basically a god within the Naruto universe. Of course the insane power creep that basically turned high-level shinobi into wizardly gods by the end of Shippuden will be hard to recreate in Jump Force, but we can reasonably expect Bandai Namco to give it a shot.

In terms of other announcements the roster was recently revealed to have expanded to include characters from Black Clover. If you want to see some more characters in action, there’s plenty to gawk at in other trailers. During TGS 2018, characters from Yu Yu Hakusho and Hunter X Hunter were revealed. Yugi Moto from Yu-Gi-Oh! was another addition to be unveiled after that. Another recent character source was the Rurouni Kenshin property. Bandai Namco also recently revealed new characters and a sneak peek of the character creation process in another trailer.

The game will be launching for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on February 15, and it will bring together some of the best heroes and villains from manga and anime out to play, or more realistically just to beat the snot out of each other.
