Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 has many different tasks to knock out. Not only do we have the weekly events and such, but we’ve also gone through a bunch of overarching seasonal quests too. Week 1 features a multi-stage quest involving finding and using mysterious devices. After you have discovered the Device, and have a way to communicate with the mysterious Seven, it’s time to move into finding out what’s happening. The next phase is to find Mighty Monument in Fortnite Chapter 3, and place some surveillance devices around it.
Where to find Mighty Monument in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 Week 1
The location you need to head to is just right by Sanctuary. You’re actually going to be heading here a lot this week, so get very familiar with the ways you have to travel here. Trying to boat across the water is one way. It’s also possible to glide over if you use the right timing from the boss. Be careful not to land outside the border.
Your target is the smaller islands to the southeast of the Sanctuary POI. The giant statue can be seen from the air. You need to place the trackers just in front of both statues.
You could also just land on the beach at the feet of the statue if you want. It’s pretty easy to spot from the air. This works since the quest can be completed across multiple rounds. What you can do is glide in, and press interact just before you hit the ground, then glide partway towards the second camera location. It saves some time doing things that way. The locations you need to place the cameras are marked with a blue glow, just like the device was.
Once you have finished up with this section, you can head over and destroy the Launchpad Signal Jammers if you have time. There’s also the cadre of Week 1 quests to deal with. That wraps up this guide, now go have some fun!
