Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 has many different tasks to knock out. Not only do we have the weekly events and such, but we’ve also gone through a bunch of overarching seasonal quests too. Week 1 features a multi-stage quest involving finding and using mysterious devices. e. After you have discovered the Device, and have a way to communicate with the mysterious Seven, you need to wrap things up. This guide will lay out one of the earlier steps, finding the Device.
Where to discover The Device in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1
There are actually seven locations on the map where Seven bases spawn. You can go to pretty much any one of them to find the device. The easiest one to find is the one detailed below.
The spot you need to head to is just southwest of the Coney Crossroads POI. The easiest way to get here is to run along the river heading west straight out of the POI, and towards the lagoon. That’s the big body of water that’s just west of Coney Crossroads. Once you are at the outlet of the river, head inside the big structure on top of the hill.
Go inside the doors and look for the suitcase on the ground that’s glowing blue. That’s the Device in Fortnite. Head over and interact with it to trigger the next phase. When you pick it up, the Scientist will speak to it, triggering the next phase of the plan. You can now head off and find the signal jammers.
Once you have finished up with this section, you can head over and destroy the Launchpad Signal Jammers if you have time. There’s also the cadre of Week 1 quests to deal with. That wraps up this guide, now go have some fun!
