Where to find the Shovel in Weird West
The shovel can be found in a few different places. You need it to do a few things, so it’s best to grab one ASAP. There are actually two shovels in the starting area.
One can be found inside the barn where you find the shed key as well. Head to the back and look inside the pile of hay, there’s a shovel you can grab sticking up out of the ground. That’s the one that most players will go for. The other involves finding the Shed Key and popping open the door. The shovel is located against the wall inside the shed. You will also want to grab the bandage from the shelf as well.
There’s also a mini-game related to the Shovel in Weird West that involves digging for treasure. There’s a lot of loot that you can acquire by doing this. So that means you want to keep a shovel on you at all times. Just be sure not to overload your inventory.
How to hunt for treasure in Weird West
Before you can look for these hidden loots, you’ll first need to check the corpses of the mobs that you’ve killed. In some instances, they might be carrying a treasure map.
Once a treasure map is in your possession, open your inventory and read it. This will start a Treasure Hunt sidequest in Weird West. Once you have activated this quest, you will be able to see the marker on the map. Open up the map and see what you can head out there and find. Head to the marked zone and look for the marked area. You will know where to dig when you find a stone or tree marked with a red X.
Dig it up and see what you get. You can often get Nimp relics from this, which are incredibly useful.
