Ark 2, the sequel to the open-world adventure and crafting hit, is coming next year. Here’s the latest trailer for the game. You can expect more of the same crafting and prehistoric adventures from the first game, but with higher stakes it seems. The islands of the first game appear to have been reborn in a new setup, with all new characters leading the way.
Ark was shown off during the Xbox and Bethesda Showcase, adding a bit more indie flair to the proceedings. And of course, it’s just weird. There are the dinosaurs and crafting, of course, but that’s not all. And for some freaking reason, Vin Diesel is here. I guess the action hero wanted to travel back in time. He’s even sporting a loin cloth, on the back of a kind of large dinosaur. It’s just so over the top, and it kind of works. This game is going to be wild.
This new game is planning to drop sometime in 2023. The game was supposed to come out sooner, but that didn’t happen. Ark 2 was announced in 2020 and was initially expected to come out this year.
