Mario Kart Tour multiplayer beta is now open

Mario Kart Tour Multiplayer Beta

Mario Kart Tour is already out, bringing kart racing fun to the mobile devices all over the globe. The game saw players from all over the world taking over their favorite Mario characters in a race for the cup. Although there’s plenty of fun to be had racing the AI for various rewards, like custom skins for karts and racers, there are some things that hardcore franchise fans are left wanting. Even with Mario Kart Tour getting delayed a couple of times, gamers were still a bit miffed about these lacking features.

One of the most desperately wanted features is actual multiplayer. The developers said after launch that the competive modes would come soon, and now we’re finally on track to get some actual multiplayer features. Nintendo has finally announced that the beta for the multiplayer mode is now live. The beta is open to both the iOS and Android versions of Mario Kart. Said beta will run until December 27th.

Just be aware, since it’s a beta, the game may experience a few bugs. Expect that there could be crashes, disconnections and other problems in the multiplayer beta for Mario Kart Tour.

As part of the beta update, the game also got a seasonal patch. As teased previously, the Winter events will bring a ton of new skins and festive decorations to the racing title. Expect Yoshi dressed up like Rudolph and the like. So if you’re in a Christmas mood, this might be the perfect opportunity to boot up the mobile kart racer to check out the new content.
