As you level up and get stronger in Elden Ring, there are going to be enemies that you have trouble with. When you run into some kind of road block, maybe some new gear can help. You can find many powerful items in this game, some are bought, and some are crafted. Having a good supply of healing items is also important as well. But really, what you often need is to get better resistance to damage, and some new skills. The path to these kinds of upgrades often means hunting down the right item set for your build. Players might want to try on a new set of armor, and maybe a new weapon.
Thsi particular set has good resistances, and even slowly replenishes HP when you’re hurt. It’s the same armor worn by Sir Gideon the All-Knowing in the cutscene at the start of Elden Ring. There are four parts to this set:
- Royal Remains Helm
- Royal Remains Armor
- Royal Remains Gauntlets
- Royal Remains Greaves
How to Get Royal Remains Armor Set in Elden Ring
The process to get this item is pretty convoluted, as you need to gain access to a certain NPC in Round Table Hold to find it. Your journey begins in the Village of Albinaurics, a site of Grace in the southern part of Liurnia of the Lakes. When you get there, look for the cave in the rocks surrounding the zone.
There’s another hidden NPC at the mouth of the cave you need to break out. The cave you’re looking for has a large pot off to one side of its entrace. That pot is an Albinauric named Albus. You need to break the spell and cancel out their disguise. You could smack them a few times, but you risk killing them if you do too much damage. If you’re rather strong, you don’t want to risk killing him, try rolling into him instead to avoid doing too much damage.
Albus will give you the Right Haligtree medallion. You then need to fast-travel back to Round Table Hold after collecting the mediallion. Ensha of the Royal Remains will invade you from there. Fight them off and hope you survive.
When you win the fight, you’re returned to the normal Hold, and can finally claim the Royal Remains armor set. You will find the entrance of Gideon Ofnir’s room just off and to the right, and it will be unlocked after you completed all the previous steps. Speak to them to claim the armor set and some bonus items.
