How to Get Imperial Thread in V Rising

V Rising PvP guide

To get the most powerful gear in V Rising, like the Bloodmoon or Sanguine gearsets, you need to do a lot of work. As with any RPG, there’s a lot of grinding involved. This incredibly powerful piece of gear can only be made late into the game in V Rising. Vampire lords looking to get this stuff will also need to grind out recipes and resources, including finding reliable sources of Imperial Thread in V Rising.

V Rising is a new vampiric action game from Stunlock Studios. By blending crafting and adventure together with a robust combat system, they’ve created something quite special. You get to hunt for various powerful items and take on incredibly dangerous foes. That whole process ties directly into getting the more powerful items in the game. Much like Wool Thread, this item is used in many different crafting recipes. Here’s how to get more of this late-game item.

How to Get Imperial Thread in V Rising

There are a few sources you can tap into to make more Imperial Thread. To make it yourself, you must first unlock the Loom. That item can be unlocked by beating Beatrice The Tailor. The Imperial Thread’s recipe is unlocked by beating Mairwyn the Elementalist, a level 64 V Blood at Emberleaf Grove in Southeast of Silverlight Hills.  Once you have the recipe, use the following items to make more:

  • 12 Snow Flowers (Common in Gleaming Meadows & Dunley Monastery)
  • 12 Sunflowers (Common in Farms at Dunley Farmlands)
  • 8 Wool Thread

You can also get your hands on it as an area drop, if you’re willing to commit to farming for it. The better approach for getting more Imperial Thread in V Rising is to use Hunts. These automated tasks let you send out a minion to farm a zone for you. The longer you let a hunt go, the more resources they bring back. Keep in mind, that Hunt timers are based on server uptime, not real-time. If you’re on a solo server, stick to two-hour hunts, or you may never see that return.

Farm it by visiting these locations:

  • Both Eastern Army Posts of Silverlight Hills
  • Brighthaven Slums
  • Southern Army Post of Silverlight Hills
  • Brighthaven Cathedral
  • Brighthaven Square

Other aspects of the game can help with your journey, like farming in V Rising and growing stuff from seeds. Seeds harvested from bosses can be used to grow unique items for crating intriguing new armor. Some of the best armor in the game is the Dark Silver gear, which is super powerful. And since you’re trying to get more powerful gear, leather can be helpful as well.
