V Rising Guides

V Rising is a new vampiric action game from Stunlock Studios. By blending crafting and adventure together with a robust combat system, they’ve created something quite special. And by infusing it with bloody good fun, the Early Access version has already found a ton of immediate popularity and success. This game has a mountain of craftable items with which to build your dark and brooding fortress.

Be sure to check out our other guides on scrolls, and other materials like fish oil. Other upgrades like Whetstones are pretty useful as well. Other aspects of the game can help with your journey, like farming in V Rising and growing stuff from seeds. Seeds harvested from bosses can be used to grow unique items for crating intriguing new armor. Some of the best armor in the game is the Dark Silver gear, which is super powerful. And since you’re trying to get more powerful gear, leather can be helpful as well.

How to get Wool Thread in V Rising

Wool Thread has a number of uses like upgrading cloth and repairing and crafting items like the Imperial Thread, Hollowfang Vestment and Armor set like Hallowfang Battlegear. You can get it from a few different places. Like any other resource in the game, you can farm for this one pretty easily, you just have to get lucky. Wool Thread can be farmed from a number of locations in the Dunley Farmlands. You can get it from enemy drops, bandit camps chests and other locations.

Apart from finding Wool Thread in the open, you can also craft it like many other resources in the game. However, to craft Woold Thread, you need to unlock its recipe.

This relies on beating a certain boss, like any other recipe in the game for crafting resources. Meredith the Birght Archer is a level 52 boss you need to defeat to get your hands on the recipe. One of the best places to check is a Cotton Farm located in the middle of the Dunley Farmlands. There’s plenty of cool stuff to be found there. This is actually just northeast of the location you need to head to when hunting the boss.

Once defeated, you’ll get the recipe for Wool Thread. To craft Wool Thread, you need 12 x Fire Bloom and 8 x Coarse Thread.

If you want to cheat your way to success, V Rising Console Commands can help here as well. Using the give command, you can simply spawn stacks of any item into your inventory
