As a new RPG, there’s a lot of players jumping into Diablo Immortal, and they’re learning as they go. Blizzard’s Diablo Immortal is their big foray into the mobile gaming scene, and it’s kind of weird. Not only is the game stuffed with microtransactions, but there’s strange choices made in terms of user experience that grind some gears. When you first start playing, you might have trouble figuring out where to go. To help alleviate that, Blizzard has put a unique feature in. There are these glowing footsteps in Diablo Immortal that guide you along.
There are a few other things to learn about this hit new RPG, so listen up. The Paragon leveling system is a bit different this time around, but mostly familiar. There’s also a more restrictive leveling system at play here, so keep that in mind. And if you find yourself not being challenged, trying a new difficulty in Diablo immortal might help. There’s also a battle pass to take on, if you want more consistent tasks to complete over your time with the game. If you’re having trouble finding your way around, try figuring out how to fast travel in Diablo Immortal to better orient yourself.
Can you turn off footsteps in Diablo Immortal?
The footsteps in the game are meant to help guide you to quest markers, and they direct your way through the level. This is kind of annoying to some players, as they might not need the glowing footprints to guide them. You can technically turn them off, here’s how.
Players who want to turn off the footsteps have some work ahead of them. And frankly, it’s kind of not worth it. For some reason, there’s no way to turn them off entirely. Unfortunately, you can’t specifically turn off footsteps in Diablo Immortal, but you can disable them with a bit of an annoying trick. The only way you disable them is by not tracking quests at all. Under the Codex on the left side of the UI, your currently tracked quest is listed. When there’s a quest tracked, the footsteps show up. You just need to deselect your quest from the list on the side of the screen. This will shut off the footsteps that are highlighting your path.
If you can’t see that UI element, try clicking the arrow on the left side, as the Codex might be hidden in the dropdown. When you see the Codex listed, just deselect the quest to finish this up. That’s everything you need to know about disabling the footsteps in Diablo Immortal.
Another thing you might find annoying in the game is the chat system, here’s how to turn that off. If you want finer control over who you play with, try out the clans in Diablo Immortal to help control your friends.
