The Crew 2 offers free trial after Demolition Derby update launches

Try out the Crew 2 for Free Today Until December 17

To celebrate the launch of the second free expansion for The Crew 2, Ubisoft has enabled the game for a free trial weekend. Anyone who wants to can burn rubber in the full game, starting today. You’ll also get to complete races, challenges, and more to rank up your profile. Any progression gained in the free weekend will be carried over to the full game should you decide to purchase it.

The trial period runs from now until December 17th. Hoping to encourage more players, Ubisoft has also enabled discounts on various editions of the game, including the Standard, Deluxe, and Gold editions, as well as discounts on the DLC season pass for the game.

The Demolition Derby update was added to the racing game on December 5th, and was released as a free update. The mode introduced various modes to the game, expanding the amount of content racers had access to. In addition to the namesake Demolition Derby, the update introduced a new PvP mode which starts at Rookie level and allows up to eight players to compete against one another in various disciplines. The game also enabled higher-ranked leagues which players could compete in for various new rewards. Other existing modes got some new polish as well, with new Drift, Alpha Grand Prix, and Rally Cross challenges being put into The Crew 2.

And it’s not just new content packs being added to the open-world racing title either. Ubisoft has also constantly been adding in new vehicles on a monthly schedule to increase the roster of cars, boats and planes gamers can fool around with over time. This last month also saw The Crew 2 receive two new vehicles as part of their monthly vehicle drop plan. These were the Audi RS3 LMS – 2017 and the Aeroboat – VS12 – 2018.
