Nintendo is really working hard to make the Switch a success by pumping up the game library for the portable console with tons of established franchises, as well as new IPs.
All the iconic Nintendo franchises like Mario and Zelda have iterations on the platform. Then there’s popular series like Dark Souls and Pokémon which got entries. Now we’ve even got those much-beloved Musou games making appearances with games from Koei Tecmo making the jump to portable gaming.
Last week, Koei and Nintendo announced they were joining forces to bring Dynasty Warriors 8 Xtreme Legends Definitive Edition to the Switch. Dynasty Warriors 8 Xtreme Legends Definitive Edition will land on the Switch eShop on December 27, with a whole load of DLC bundled into the purchase.
Dynasty Warriors 8 Xtreme Legends, which itself is an expanded version of Dynasty Warriors 8, brought a lot of expanded content to the table. A lot of it in the form of new costumes, stages, battles and more that were added in the Xtreme Legends expansion. All of that and more is included in this Switch release. So expect tons of side-stories, new missions, added maps, and tons of costumes.
Dynasty Warriors 8 Xtreme Legends Definitive Edition will only be available digitally and will cost $39.99 from the Switch eShop. Those who buy the game within a week from its release will be able to get it 10% off.
