Blizzard’s Diablo Immortal is here, bringing the killing of demons to mobile for the first time. The game has a ton of acts to chew through, and a brand new story to tell. As you fight off the denizens of Hell, you will encounter friends both new and old, and get to build the ultimate hero of your dreams. There’s a lot of build diversity here, and plenty of fun to be had, but Blizzard will constantly be adding new content.

Being a mobile-first RPG, there are a lot of microtransactions in Diablo Immortal. There are a lot of things to learn, but Blizzard has made it pretty easy to figure things out. And thankfully, not all of the microtransactions are that gameplay-affecting. Some are worse than others, but this guide will cover one of the more interesting and less annoying ones. The battle pass in Diablo Immortal exists to help encourage players to log in.

How to buy the battle pass in Diablo Immortal

To buy the battle pass in Diablo Immortal, you will have to complete the Ashwold Cemetery quests early in the game. These are completed around level 20, so pretty early in the leveling process during each season. Yes, this game has seasons too. The idea is that players can earn unique rewards that give them special items for doing certain tasks. Each season runs for around a month, and this gives you 35 days to earn the rewards from each track. You just need to play the game and complete the listed challenges to do so. And to help encourage that, the battle pass in Diablo Immortal is a thing.

There is a free and a paid version of the battle pass. The free one offers basic rewards, with paying getting you a lot more for your money. And it’s not too pricey based on what you get.

There are two tiers to the paid battle pass in Diablo Immortal, with each one you get a bundle of different rewards, depending on the one you buy. The Empowered Battle Pass is $4.99 USD and there’s the Collector’s Empowered Battle Pass which gives you a bit more for a higher price. That version includes a few extra cosmetic items, and an immediate rank boost, for $14.99.

There are a few other things to learn about this hit new RPG, so listen up. The Paragon leveling system is a bit different this time around, but mostly familiar. There’s also a more restrictive leveling system at play here, so keep that in mind. And if you find yourself not being challenged, trying a new difficulty in Diablo immortal might help.
