Nintendo is getting in one last minute spook for Halloween, with a new trailer for Pokemon: Let’s Go Pikachu! and Let’s Go Eevee! The newest trailer focuses on a certain town that fans of the older games like Red and Blue will know very well. What location you ask?
The iconic and chilling city of Lavender Town, of course! This town is the site of many Ghost-type Pokemon, as well as the infamous Marowak ghost that will be familiar to old veterans of the franchise. And even after all these years, it still kind of gives you the creeps. I mean come on, it even uses the old creepy music.
In other Pokémon news, Pokémon GO is running a pair of new events. Niantic is running a new raid and capture event for Halloween featuring the Legendary Giratina. There’s also a Gengar Day event coming up which will see Shiny Gengars added to Pokemon GO. The Pokemon: Let’s Go games will also feature a new legendary evolution, Melmetal.
