We’re still more than a month out from the launch of open-world adventure Just Cause 4, but that hasn’t stopped Square Enix from pumping out plans for various DLC packs and expansions to the game already. So far there are three separate packs planned, each with their own theme and unique content. All of the expansion content is slated for release throughout 2019, on all platforms.
Of course you can buy the pieces of DLC seperately, or as a bundle with the Expansion Pass. Also, those who pick up Just Cause 4: Gold Edition will gain access to all three DLC packs within the Expansion Pass seven days early.
The first pack to be released is called Dare Devils, and it should come out a couple months after the main game. Rico will be forced to compete in various brutal “death races” and other vehicular events. Although if he manages to survive, you’ll earn some cool new gadgets and vehicular toys. Expect tons of destruction with this release.
Then there’s pack number two, Demons. This may release around mid-2019, although this is purely speculation based on the timeline presented. There’s a much more supernatural element to this addon than any others. A demonic presence of some kind is infecting the population and Rico has to put a stop to it. Mostly by shooting things in the face or blowing them.
And finally, the third pack is called simply Danger, and will release on PC, PS4 and Xbox One like all the others before it. This pack centers on a new storyline as Rico takes on his former bosses. This DLC has Rico face new enemies and find new weapons and technology as he takes on The Agency, the CIA analog from the first two games. The same group Rico used to work for.
Just Cause 4 will release for PC, PS4, and Xbox One on December 4, with the Demons, Dare Devils, and Danger Expansion Pass content releasing throughout 2019. Check out the full slate of DLC content planned in the trailer below.
