In a new video update, Dying Light 2 has gotten its first breath of life in many months. The zombie game has been struggling to come to market for some time. There were thoughts that the game would never be finished, thanks to many different delays. The game even lost its art director at one point. All this left the future very cold and unclear for the sequel.
This is the latest update about the game for a while, since the game was delayed all the way back in 2019, into 2020. This new update actually shows some progress, finally. We’ve seen more gameplay footage before, but it’s unlikely that the footage we have seen is all that similar to the game we finally get. And yes, we’re finally getting the game in 2021. The newest teaser for the game reveals a window for the Dying Light 2 release date.
Techland didn’t have any new gameplay to show off in the new teaser, but at least we finally have a new release window. There’s a chance that date could shift again, but let’s hope that doesn’t happen this time too.
Dying Light 2 is still expected to release to the PlayStation 4 and 5, the Xbox Series X and, as well as the Series S at some point. The exact date is not know as of yet. A release is also planned for Steam to hit that PC market.
