Jump Force release date and two new characters announced

Bandai Namco released a bunch of news about Jump Force today. Not only did we finally learn when the game is coming out, we got even more details about what characters and Two new fighters are heading for the battlefield in Jump Force, and fans are going to be really happy. The news was revealed at Paris Games Week today, and it’s time to get hype.

Bandai Namco announced two new additions to the fighting game roster. Ryo Saeba from City Hunter and Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star are joining the fight. This puts the total count of characters on the roster at an impressive 28. Saeba and Kenshiro are two legendary manga and anime characters that have decades-long legacies. It would have been a travesty to not have these kinds of characters in Jump Force.

The game will launch on February 15, 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Here’s a bit more about the game from the devs:

“Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the famous Weekly Jump Magazine, Jump Force is making the most of latest technologies to bring characters to life in a never-seen-before realistic design.”

The  anime fighting game will feature characters from the likes of Dragon Ball, One Piece, Death Note and Yu-Gi-Oh!, among many more. If you want to check out more of the characters and stages in the game, there’s plenty to gawk at in other trailers. During TGS 2018, characters from Yu Yu Hakusho and Hunter X Hunter were revealed. Yugi Moto from Yu-Gi-Oh! was another addition to be unveiled after that. There’s also some gameplay showing some non-playable characters, as well as details about the Collector’s Edition. The previous announcement of Seiya and Shiryu from Saint Seiya, was the most recent announcement before this one.
