We’ve known that the stellar and beautiful MMORPG Black Desert Online was coming to the Xbox One for a while now. With an installed base of more than 10 million PC players globally Pearl Abyss has been looking to pull even more users into the massive and ever-expanding MMO. They’ve found their next target for expansion with a port to the Xbox One.
The full release of the Xbox port is months away at a minimum, but we’re getting a series of beta tests for players to get a tease of the game.
Here is a brief overview of the game, via Pearl Abyss:
Captured in stunning 4K quality, Black Desert for Xbox One was first revealed on-stage at the Microsoft press conference at E3 2017 and will feature console-exclusive gameplay from its PC counterpart, Black Desert Online, which counts for more than 10 million players worldwide. Built from the ground-up for console, Black Desert aims to achieve the most fluid and responsive MMORPG gameplay that’s possible with a controller interface.
Although if you happen to be at TwitchCon 2018, there’s plenty of chances to get your hands on the game. From October 26th-28th attendees at the event can stop by booth #1711 to try out an early demo build of BDO on the Xbox.
The first open beta of Black Desert Online is coming to Xbox One between November 8th-12th 2018. Check out more details about the Xbox One version of the popular game at the official site. You can also register for the beta there as well.
