It was one of three Local Specialties that could be obtained then, it has now become a general spawn.

This new ascension material is a pretty rare drop during 1.6, and now it’s a lot easier to get your hands on. Use this guide to learn all of the potential spawn locations of Sea Ganoderma in Genshin Impact.

The places you can most often find these items vary a lot. In Inazuma, Sea Ganoderma can be found on every available island, including Enkanomiya. These island chains are the best place to find these special items outside of the event zones. We’ve included some screenshots showing where to find the potential spawns. You can find them all over the place, you just need to know where to look. Use the maps below to figure out where to look. Keep in mind that the game randomizes these spawns. Each node marked in the images below is a potential spawn location, as it’s not guaranteed to show up each time. You should run a route hitting a few different spawn points every few days.

In this current version of the game, it’s actually much easier to find this item. With its specialty status as an ascension material, you will eventually need it depending on who you have in your roster. Yae Miko and Kazuka use this material for the Ascension, although no current weapons make use of it. The best place to look is in the Teyvat islands, where it can readily be found. You can also buy a few from Obata for 1,000 Mora. There are five in stock each rotation, and stock refills every 3 days.
