You can be a paranormal investigator if you want, but that’s not all that’s spooky this time around. The Sims 4: Paranormal also includes a bunch of ghosts that you can interact with in a few different ways. One of them is called Guidry the Ghost, and they’re a bit mischevious. This particular ghastly roommate loves pranks as much as any joker, and you may find yourself getting pranked a lot with them around. How to Summon Guidry the Ghost in The Sims 4: Paranormal
There are two ways to summon Guidry the Ghost, and it will depend on your Sim as far as which one you use. Players will also have to choose what kind of themes they want their playthrough to have.
If you like a lot more spooky stuff going on, you might go full in on the seance and other medium activities. That often means living in an already haunted house. This lot type will mean that ghosts randomly spawn at different times of the day. Be warned, not all of them are friendly. But if you want to get the ghost spawns the easy way, that’s the way to do it.If your Sims are living in a house with the “haunted house” residential lot type, then Guidry will just show up some days around 9 PM.
To take the séance path, you need the right furniture. You need to grab both the Séance Table and Chair from the Build/Buy menu. The full set will run you 648 Simoleons. The Chair and Table will run you 333. That 648 cost gets you a full set of furniture and crystal ball for performing a Séance. Once you have placed the table and chair, just direct a Sim to use it and this will summon Guidry.
That’s not all you can do either! As you explore the various mechanics added in the expansion, you will notice your skills increasing. Players can summon more ghostly pals, search for new ghosts and so much more as their skills improve.
