The new weapon crafting system in Destiny 2 The Witch Queen is a huge addition to the game. Gathering and using resources to make the weapons and gear you want is a huge uplift in the quality of life for the game. Players are busy rushing around, trying to find those new Deepsight weapons and caches, learning what secrets they hold. With new crafting materials like Resonant Alloy to gather, there’s a lot to learn. There’s also a bunch of powerful and strange new weapons, like the Parasite, which were added to give players something to chase. And with the new expansion comes a mountain of new Nightfall, Playlist and other weapons that can be farmed to further augment your arsenal.
How to get Fortissimo-11 in Destiny 2
Slug shotguns are a bit of a strange thing in Destiny 2. And that’s doubly true for Fortissimo-11. You can’t craft it, so you just have to farm for it. It’s pretty powerful for both PvP and PvE, with the right perks. Fortissimo-11 is a Vanguard Strike exclusive weapon that only drops from that playlist. You need to complete Strikes to get your hands on it. This slug shotgun isn’t the only weapon in the Vanguard weapon pool, so you may have to farm a bit.
Fortissimo-11 PvE God Roll
- Smallbore or Fullbore
- Tactical Mag or Assault Mag
- Surplus or Outlaw
- Vorpal
- Masterwork: Range
- Mod: Spec Mod
For both the Fortissimo-11 God Roll variants in PvE and PvP, there’s a dual choice between barrel mods. You can get Smallbore for more accuracy, or go full DPS with Fullbore. Tactical Mag or Assault Mag can be used pretty easily in the PvE God Roll. If you combine that with Outlaw, it can be pretty helpful with that very small mag size, but it has limited utility to some players. And as any longtime player knows, you always pick Vorpal.
Fortissimo-11 PvP God Roll

- Surplus or Perpetual Motion
- Opening Shot
- Masterwork: Range
- Mod: Icarus
For both variants, you need Range masterworks to get things done. As for the rounds mod, you pretty much need to use Accurized Rounds for that added accuracy. Surplus is also good for this setup, but you do have other options. Perpetual Motion is another good option. The added bounses to help accuracy and reload speed are a huge boon in PvP. Opening Shot is one of the best PvP perks out there for any slug shotgun. You need that damage boost to be competitive.
