New trailer for Mortal Kombat 11 confirms Erron Black, Cassie Cage, and Jacqui Briggs

Mortal Kombat 11 Story and Gameplay Trailers

NetherRealm has announced a few new fighters coming to Mortal Kombat 11 with a new trailer, one which also reveals the story. And just like the rest of the canon in the MK universe, things are going to get confusing very quickly. Time itself is ripping apart due to the various actions throughout the history of the franchise. And now, a massive distortion in the timeline, caused by a powerful new enemy, will bring past, present and future versions of all the iconic characters together for an apocalyptic final battle.

Now on to what you really care about, new roster additions. In the case of this trailer, Erron Black, Cassie Cage, and Jacqui Briggs are all confirmed via new story elements and some gameplay. All three fighters are shown in cutscenes throughout the video before brief snippets of each character’s fatality is shown.

In addition to these new confirmations, NetherRealm has pushed out a handful of other character trailers, including D’Vorah and Kabal. Jade is also coming back to the game. And with these new additions, the roster of the newest entry in the iconic franchise is set to be one of the best yet. And with at least 8-10 more characters incoming, fans are getting really hype about their personal favorites being included in the melee.

For anyone who wants to keep track of the full roster, here’s all of the playable fighters within Mortal Kombat 11:

  • Scorpion
  • Raiden
  • Sub-Zero
  • Sonya Blade
  • Skarlet
  • Baraka

In other news, good news actually, NetherRealm is currently looking to add cross-platform play to their latest game. There’s also a kool Kollector’s Edition of the game, including a really great Scorpion mask as a bonus. Another interesting aspect of the game is that various characters are getting regional skins. Kano will have a skin exclusive to Brazil for example.
