Mortal Kombat 11 Kollector’s Edition announced, has a Scorpion mask
NetherRealm studios has announced the big-boy Kollector’s Edition of Mortal Kombat 11, with plenty of physical and digital bonuses to appeal to fans to open their wallets.
A bunch of new details about the roster, story and gameplay of the upcoming fighting game were revealed on a livestream this week, and these details about the special edition were among them.
The big draw here is the 1:1 replica of Scorpion’s mask, which is a pretty cool addition, hopefully it turns out to be a high-quality piece. At least there’s no canvas bag to replace with a cheap nylon alternative. What else comes in the box you ask? There’s the Premium Edition of the game, which includes a bunch of in-game content like costumes and such. There’s also a steelbook case, magnet, authenticity plague, and black collector’s box.
The Kollector’s Edition doesn’t have a firm price, but we do know that it will be an exclusive to GameStop stores in the US. We also know that pre-ordering the game in any form will grant you access to the Beta test for the game. Although this isn’t something every gamer will find appealing, we know that.
Mortal Kombat 11 will be hitting stores on April 23 for PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One.And if you want to see more about this Kollector’s Edition, check out the trailer for it below.
