How to trade in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Guides

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is a wonderfully insane fusion of the Borderlands storyline and D&D. The game offers a fitting conclusion to certain story beats within the mainline games, and gives the franchise a chance to branch out into something new.

The core gameplay of the Borderlands games is here, with a huge array of loot and guns to claim as your own. Enchanted loot is extra powerful and can roll with tons of modifiers, and they aren’t always useful to a certain build. So that makes trading a great way to get new gear if you have something someone else wants. And since you can team up with friends, there’s even more dastardly chaos to sew. When you and a friend get together to play, there’s tons of fun to be had. You even have the ability to trade in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands if you want to give your pals some items. Here’s how to trade items in the game.

How to trade in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands

Though trading has always been baked into previous games in the franchise, it’s not always the most intuitive. Unfortunately, the trading system in each of these games has had its own foibles. One of the common problems is that short of dropping loot on the ground, there may not have been an easy way to trade. This led to scams and items being lost due to glitches in level geometry. That’s not good.

The solution is that Gearbox finally added a direct trading system in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. You just need to walk over to the character you wish to trade with and interact with them. Hold down the button that corresponds with the trading prompt on the screen, and the UI for trading will open. From there, just select the item you wish to trade and offer it up. You can even select the gold icon at the bottom of your inventory to give Gold to another player.

Obviously, a player needs to be logged into your game to trade with you, but that’s really all you need to worry about. Oh, and make sure not to try and trade in the middle of combat, that can lead to some issues with new holes in your body.
