How to change mount in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

How to get Mountain’s Root in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

Your mount in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is a very important part of your clan. The beast you ride into battle can be a solid companion or a symbol of your power. And as the game goes on, the main character could be well known as the terror riding atop their trusted steed. As you spend more time on your Viking adventures, you will want to freshen things up though. You might want to change the look of your character, or even your longship. You could also tweak your mount in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

To change mount in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla you need to find or build a Stable and Aviary inside Raventhorpe. That means getting your settlement to Level 1 for 400 Supplies and 30 Raw Materials. You will then need to spend another 400 Supplies and 30 Raw Materials to build a Stable upgrade. Once it’s finished you can then change your mount’s look.

Once you’ve built a Stable and Aviary, you can head there at any time and speak with the stablemaster to change the options you have unlocked. There are a bunch of options for mount looks and skins, depending on what you like. You will unlock the basic options a few hours into the game, when you first set foot in England.

How to get the Wolf Mount

To unlock the wolf mount at launch, you need to have either the Berserker Gear Pack – which comes with the Collector’s Edition and Ultimate Editions of the game – or have already purchased the wolf mount from the in-game store. There is one way to get the mount, but you need to be lucky. You need to have the item spawn in Ravensthorpe’s Opal merchant’s inventory. You then need to complete the daily and weekly missions to get enough Opals to buy it.
