Opals are a special kind of currency in Assassins Creed Valhalla. You need them for a variety of tasks, and you can only get them as special rewards. Opals are one of those resources you’ll want to keep an eye out for, as they can be useful for quests, trade-ins, and some very special rewards. I won’t spoil what they’re used for, just to say that they’re pretty important. Use this guide to learn how to get more of them.
How to Get Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Opals
Once you get your settlement to Level 3, you will start needing more resources, and some rare ones too. You will get access to some pretty cool stuff though, like an unassuming merchant named Rada. They sell a bunch of very interesting items, including Opals, but their stock rotates each day. You will want to keep checking back to see what’s going on each day to get Opals and other goodies. Rada also deals in weapons, hairstyles, tattoos, and more.
You can also find Opals out in the world. find 1-2 of them each time you do. There’s no obvious method for divining their location though. The best way to spot them appears to be using your Raven sight.
However, there is another way to get Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Opals. The merchant mentioned above also sells unique Assassination Contracts. These random missions give you a target to take down, and you get a reward for completing them. Each one has a random reward, but there’s a pretty good chance you can get some Opals from them.
