How to get Sol in A Universal Time
To get Sol in A Universal Time, follow these steps:
- Obtain the Star Platinum Stand from an Arrow
- Defeat Dio and wish to know the cosmos
- Complete the Creation of the Cosmos quest
- Kill Dio again with the Tales of the Universe Book equipped
- Choose Wish to Know the Cosmos again.
Obtain the Star Platinum Stand from an Arrow
The first thing you need to do it unlock the Star Platinum Stand. This is a basic process and can be repeated for many other Stands as well. Each Stand is linked to a specific item, and Star Platinum is linked to Arrows. You can find arrows in chests, meteors, or by purchasing one from the shop.
When you find an Arrow, use it inside your Action bar to get the Stand out of it. The outcome is randomized, so you will need more than one arrow to get all the first-tier stands. The Stands you can gain from the Arrow include:
- Star Platinum
- Killer Queen
- Gold Experience
- Crystalized
- Nuclear Star
- Shadow DIO
- King Crimson
- Whitesnake
You can either reset your Stand or put your current Stand in Ability Storage to get a new one. To store your Stand, go into the park, and look for the Ability Storage NPC to do this.
Defeat Dio and wish to know the cosmos
Now you need to head out into the world and take on the villainous Dio. You can spend 500 Robux to force him to spawn at your location, or you can hunt him down in the forests. Dio randomly spawns every thirty minutes in the forest.
After slaying Dio, he will say, “do you wish to know the cosmos?” Be sure to reply with “Yes.” Choosing anything other than this will trigger another fight with Dio, so don’t do that.
Complete the Creation of the Cosmos quest
Replying to Dio unlocks the Creation of the Cosmos quest, here are the objectives:
- Inflict 5,000 damage with Star Platinum
- Kill Dio with Star Platinum
- Block 1,500 Damage with Star Platinum
- Get 5 Timestop kills
These are a bit time-intensive but are still pretty easy. To start, you need to fight your way through enough of any NPCs to deal 5,000 damage with your Stand. That and the blocking objective are also easy to do in PvP. The Timestop kills are pretty easy, as you can trigger Timestop by pressing the “J” key against weakened enemies. Just fight and weaken the Dummy NPCs in the park to get this done.
When you kill Dio the second time during this quest, you need to fight him a third time. When he asks you the question, choose something other than “Yes”. This will trigger the next fight and allow you to finish the quest.
Get the Tales of the Universe Book and kill Dio again
The Tales of the Universe Book is a random drop which means you need to spend the time finding it. Once you have found it from chest drops, you need to go fight Dio once again. It will take quite a bit of time, depending on how good your RNG is.
Once you have the Tales of the Universe Book, locate and kill Dio one more time. Choose “Yes” when you fight him again, and you will unlock Sol in A Universal Time.
