8-Bit Hordes is bringing it’s own brand of nuts RTS action to console in a few months, and the developers have released a new trailer to hype gamers up for that release.
The game features straightforward controls should make it easy for players of all levels to build massive bases, summon and command colossal armies, and leave the enemy’s realm in pieces. 8-Bit Hordes will feature cross-title play with the other games made by the devs, 8-Bit Armies and the upcoming 8-Bit Invaders. In terms of actual gameplay options, there will be a single player campaign mode, co-operative play, as well as AI skirmishes.
The game is a top-down RTS that pits players against hordes of any kind of fantasy or medieval monster you can imaging. Players take control of one of two factions – the Deathsworn or the Lightbringers. Each faction has a huge roster of units built around a particular archetypal theme.
The Deathsworn are a horrifying mixture of attle-hardened orcs and swarms of undead that tear their enemy asunder.
The LightBringers are an honorable army of elves, dwarves, and humans who oppose the Deathsworn at all costs.
8-Bit Hordes is set for release on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on February 1, 2019. The game is currently available on PC. Check out the latest trailer for the game down below.
