Dojo Guide for Isle of Armor in Pokémon Sword and Shield

Dojo Guide for Isle of Armor in Pokémon Sword and Shield

Kubfu is a Wushu Pokémon of the Fighting Type. And it’s one of the newest entries in the Pokédex with this DLC. Whereas most of the additions where entries from previous generations, this one is entirely new. To get the new team member, you just need to progress through the story. And you need to unlock these tasks to be able to upgrade the Dojo in Isle of Armor. One of the first tasks you get handed at the Master Dojo will include hunting down three fast-moving Slowpoke who have stolen a Trainer’s uniform.

After doing that, progress through the story a bit more. Once you get through the final Trainer battle with your Rival, you unlock the potential train Kubfu. All you need to do is return and speak to Mustard once this is done.

How to Unlock Dogo Upgrades

Once you have unlocked Kubfu, begin using it to build your relationship with it. Once you hit a certain milestone with your Kubfu friendship, you should get a notification telling you to return to the Dojo. Honey is the girl in the green jacket. Head over and talk to her. She will ask you to bring back Watts to help her upgrade the Dojo in Isle of Armor.

You will need to head to Digging Ma and Pa and farm tons of Watts. These Watts can both be traded for items, but they can also be used to upgrade the Dojo in Isle of Armor. Once you have the Watts listed above, return to Honey and buy the various upgrades listed below. If you need more Armorite Ore, which can be turned in for more moves or traded for Watts, use our Armorite Ore farming guide to find where Digging Ma spawns.
