To get the EXP Charm in Isle of Armor, you will need to do some things first. You will want to get through the story a fair bit. To get the EXP Charm in Isle of Armor, you first need to finish through the story to the point that you do reach Wedgehurst. There’s a bit to do around this point, but your goal is to talk to the conductor.
On your way there, you will encounter a conductor on the train, she is actually a Trainer you can battle with. Once you beat this battle, her dialogue will hint at the new Dojo added in the DLC, the Master Dojo. This is also the point where you unlock the Gigantamax Versions of Squirtle or Bulbasaur. The Dojo is located on top of a hill in the zone, so you can’t really miss it.
Once you get to the Dojo, the next step is to find Honey. She should be standing right outside when you first arrive. Interact with Honey and she will introduce you to some new characters inside. One of them is her son Hyde, talk through the dialogue, and you will be awarded with the EXP Charm.
The story will trend towards taking on plenty of new Trainer battles and even hunting a new Legendary. You will need to train up a fair bit to get through the entire DLC.
