A new item added to Pokémon Sword and Shield with The Isle of Armor DLC expansion is called Armorite Ore. You will start the DLC with five of the Ore, and you will need plenty more. This is a very useful item, and you will want to know how to farm more Armorite Ore in The Isle of Armor.
Armorite Ore in The Isle of Armor will be introduced to you right after you finish the first trial at the Master Dojo. Players will want to keep tabs on this rare resource, as it has a really unique use.
The best use for the Armorite Ore is to trade it in to the Digging Ma and Pa. These NPCs are located in the Training Lowlands, and you can trade the Ore to them to gain more Watts. This is very useful for endgame raids. Digging Ma is the primary source for digging up the Ore, and she moves around a lot. Digging Ma moves around though, so you have to hunt her down to trade with her. She will ask you to dig up more Armorite Ore as the story goes on, trading more advanced rewards each time. One such trade for 7 Armorite Ore yielded 50,000 Watts from Digging Pa.
Eventually, you will encounter the Move Trainer after this point in the story. The Trainer by the Battle Court in the Master Dojo is the one you’re looking for. Once you find him, you can trade Armorite Ore in The Isle of Armor for different moves. He teaches a bunch of powerful moves. We included a list of all the moves you can learn by trading Armorite Ore in The Isle of Armor below:
