Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season One Trailer

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season One is almost here. The first major post-launch season was pushed back a few days earlier this week, but the content remains the same. That content is now getting showed off in a new trailer. There’s a ton coming, as the developer has announced that this is the biggest update in franchise history for post-launch stuff.

There’s new maps all over the place as well. The biggest gameplay additions are many and bring a bunch of balance shifts as well. Black Ops Cold War Season One will be augmented by new gameplay options. That aforementioned new map pack will feature heavily in a revamped playlist. There will be new 6v6 options to take on and more, including a new 2v2 Gunfight mode as well.

Check out the full details of the patch over here. A big part of that will be a new map, which is teased in the trailer. While the map is set at night in the trailer, leaks seem to suggest the multiplayer version is set during the day. That’s not all though, as new game modes and even a new operator are on the way.

The new Operator Vikhor “Stitch” Kuzmin, the ex-KGB leader who was involved in the Nova 6 program that’s at the core of the story of the game. The story surrounding him is surprisingly complex. Stitch was captured and tortured by Russell Adler, and then was sent to Gulag by Kravchenko for his failings in that aforementioned program.
