How to get the cloak and blend in in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

There are a bunch of different useful items and resources in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. As you journey around you will notice that there are also a bunch of hidden secrets and puzzles to solve. Knowing where to find these secrets and how to get them is key to getting all of the character upgrades in the game. There are a variety of character upgrades in this game, and you’re going to need to unlock them in some very interesting ways.

One of the most important techniques for the basics of stealth in the franchise is social stealth. The franchise has been relying on the ability to blend into crowds for some time. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla also adds in a unique skill system with various skill trees, but this particular mechanic has its own set of impact and effects.

The skill is very much the same as it has always been in previous games, but you need to unlock it first.

To get the cloak in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla you need to wait until you unlock the Birthrights mission. Head over to the area where you find Basim and the rest of the Hidden Ones. This quest will bring out a basic tutorial on how to use the item as well. You can then use it as you please from that point onward. You can combine it with things like recruiting followers to quickly move through a crowd. Use your imagination, as the game will throw various challenges at you and expect a creative solution.

Just like other incarnations, the cloak in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will allow the player to hide in crowds from various enemies. You need to be careful though, as there’s a chance that enemies could still spot you. If you let an enemy get too close, they can still spot you and break stealth. Don’t draw your weapons or you will break stealth as well.

The cloak will be mapped to your quick-use items on the D-pad. Press D-pad down to trigger the cloak.
