V Rising being a crafting-focused game, of course there’s farming too. You may be a powerful vampire trying to expand their territory, but you can’t do everything on your own. You need to recruit Servants to take care of missions for you. Players also need to hunt down rare and common resources for crafting, such as Gem stones and dust, or maybe Sulfur. That all is just the early game though, there’s so much more.
The game also features a robust weapon and gear system. As you and your followers gain more interesting gear, their skills improve. You can build up your fortress and take on all challenges in your immortal quest for more blood. Blood is the lifeforce of a vampire after all. As you increase your influence over the world, you will also have to take down various rivals. That’s the primary reason why you need better gear. And with Copper items being the most basic, you have multiple tiers beyond that.
Where to get silver ore in V Rising
Like any other raw material in the game, silver can be mined from resource nodes, in this case the ones that have a very specific glittery glow.
There’s actually a pretty good spot to check. To get Silver Ore in V Rising, you will need to head to Silverlight Hills and into the mines. By running through this zone and exploring the caves, you can take down various enemies for loot. But the real prize is the silver ore nodes found deep within the cave network. The area shows on the map to the northwest of the Silverlight Hills Waygate, nearby an inconspicuous building. It’s the upper corner of the map, and it’s filled with ore nodes. To get a good supply of these weapons, you need to be pretty high level. Level 60 enemies abound in these mines, so come prepared.

What can you do with Silver Ore?
To unlock the full potential of this item, you need to Defeat Octavia the Militia Captain, a level 58 boss. You can find them in the northeast of Dunley Farmlands, in the Bastion of Dunley.
1 Scourge Bar and 20 silver ore are needed to make one ingot of Dark Silver. This is the best form the raw ore can take. To make the Scourge Bar, you need the following items:
- 1x Whetstone
- 4x glass
- 4x grave dust
You make glass from quartz, which you can also process in the furnace. Grave Dust is created when you smash bones in the Mill. Similar to stone dust. Whetstones can be found in various camps throughout the game world. You may also craft them by defeating Grayson the Armorer to unlock the recipe.
Dark Silver Ingots are used to create higher-level weapons, such as the Dark Silver Crossbow, Sword, Axe, Mace, Spear and more.
Other aspects of the game can help with your journey, like farming in V Rising and growing stuff from seeds. Seeds harvested from bosses can be used to grow unique items for crating intriguing new armor.
