Where to find Gem Stones in V Rising

V Rising

V Rising is the hit new game this week. Many players are likening it to other crafting-focused open-world games, like Valheim. But really, it’s so much more than just that kind of game, but with fangs. The crafting is a huge part of it still, and it’s tons of fun. And as with any self-respecting survival game, you’ll need to do a lot of farming for crafting materials so you can build up your base and keep it from decaying.

Getting new items and gear to kit out your base with is a huge deal in this game.  The ability to get a better base is key as you need it to gain new gear and abilities. Your hub is basically the source of all your powers. You also get to upgrade that base with various facilities. You can unlock fast travel using the Vampire Waygate, for example. That building needs Gem stones and dust, so you want to keep reading to find out where to get them.

One of the other common elements of V Rising is the quest for resources. Iron, Sulphur and more are all used in varying amounts in many recipes. Building both new base upgrades and items often requires a bunch of basic materials. Iron Ore in V Rising is one of the most common. The game also includes more advanced recipes, which you need powerful and rare items to make.

Where to find Gem Stones in V Rising

Like all the resource nodes in the game, Gemstones and the various ores have their own unique look. Gem Stones are found in specific Stone deposits that have gems sticking out of them. These are a rare spawn in any location you can find stone deposits. When you’re out hunting for Iron and other items, you have a small chance to find one of these rare nodes. Getting your hands on them is much harder compared to normal ores.

Just like the other nodes for rocks and ore, you need some variety of mace to harvest from them.

In higher-level zones, various tough enemies can also drop crafting materials. Stone Golems are found in higher-end areas and have a chance to drop gems when killed. When you kill Golems, they can drop crude gems that can then be further crafted into items or advanced materials.
