We’ve got some more news about Soul Calibur VI and it’s massive roster. This time the news comes in the form of a new character being announced as DLC. Bandai Namco recently announced Astaroth and Seong Mi-na would be coming to the game, and now we’ve got one more eccentric fighter to add to the list of the kooky cast for the continuation of the iconic fighting game franchise.
Say hello to Tira. Tira will join the roster as a DLC character, wielding the ring blade Eiserne Drossel. Her acrobatic fighting style makes her a highly mobile and quick striker. Slower characters may have trouble hitting her if the player at the stick is fast enough. Tira’s lightning-fast combos send her dashing around the ring. Not only can she easily avoid or parry slow and heavy fighters, but her capability to string together combos that stun or down opponents makes her a huge threat. This is even more true since she has special moves that deal increased damage against downed fighters. So if you enjoy high-octane fighters, Tira may be a good choice for you.
Of course, Tira isn’t the only fighter added to the game’s roster in recent months. Ivy and Zasalamel are joining the fray. You can check out more of the roster over here. But it’s not just new and old characters either, the game will feature a much more expansive singleplayer mode compared to previous years.
