Destiny 2: Forsaken is just around the corner, and Bungie is still trying to run that hype train off of the tracks. The developer has released multiple trailers for the major update in the recent days. One such trailer shows the fall of Cayde-6, and the other trailer showcases the fallout from his loss. The war has begun against Uldren Sov and his Barons.
So without further ado, let’s dive into Destiny 2: Forsaken what it has to offer. WE finally feast our eyes on the Dreaming City and it’s many secrets. Players will join up with returning character Petra Venj to unravel the secrets hidden away in the Dreaming City and hopefully bring peace back to the once-prosperous home of the Awoken. The Dreaming City is the site of the Year 2 end-game, so expect lots of raid bosses set there.
In gameplay related changes, Bungie is planning to take almost all of the restrictions off weapon slots in Forsaken. There’s also the new Gambit mode which combines PvP and PvE aspects into a single unified experience. In simple terms, it’s a competitive mode that two teams of four players per side compete against one another while also taking on computer-controlled enemies.
As one would expect from a massive update like this in Destiny 2, there’s lots of new content and fun to be had. Destiny 2 Forsaken launches on September 4th on all platforms. On August 28th, players will be able to preload Forsaken and a new update will be available as well. Check out the trailers for the expansion down below.
