Here’s all the Soulcalibur 6 characters revealed so far

On this page we’re going to run down all of the characters announced for Soulcalibur 6, plus a little insight into who they are and what they do. SC6 is out for PC, PS4 and Xbox One later in 2018. The weapon based fighting game has always been known for its really unique character designs and frantic action. So let’s dig in, shall we?

Here’s our complete Soulcalibur 6 character roster:

Siegfreid

After losing to Kilik and his comrades in the form of Nightmare, Siegfried awoke in an unfamiliar place and he is now unable to free himself from the unforgiving memories of his time spent as the cursed sword’s puppet. He’s fighting to free himself from the grasp of the cursed blade though. Will he succeed? Siegfried is also the most recent announcement for the game.

Geralt of Rivia

Geralt from the Witcher series being included has him following in the footsteps of the likes of Darth Vader, Yoda, Link, Heihachi and Assassin’s Creed’s Ezio as a guest character in the tale of souls and swords. It will be interesting to see how he fights against the other skilled masters of the franchise.
Groh

The first completely new character for SC 6, Groh is also the first Norse character in the franchise. He’s known to have worked for a mysterious, dangerous group known as the Aval Organization, and he wields a double-ended sword.
Ivy

“This place shall be your grave!” Isabella “Ivy” Valentine returns to the stage of history armed with her signature Snake Sword. She has been a constant in the franchise since 1998, and her skillset looks much the same as previous entries judging by the trailer. And of course, her characteristic impractical fan service outfit is still there too.
Kilik

Kilik looks more than a little messed up in his trailer. Whether the pike and pole master is possessed by evil isn’t known, but it will be interesting to see how his story evolves.
Mitsurugi

One of the more iconic characters in the series, and my personal arcade cab choice from Soul Calibur 2, Mitsurugi is back with the same masterful skills with his katana.
Nightmare

Nightmare has been the ever-present evil beast of the Soul series character roster ever since Soul Edge in the mid-90s – indeed, that game was named after his sword. He still has that sword, and is as badass as ever.
Sophitia

Sophitia is back in Soulcalibur proper for what appears to be a sort of soft-reboot of the franchise story after SC2. She’s been a staple of the franchise for most of it’s existence, and she was also one of the first characters announced for SC 6.
Xianghua

Xianghua returns in SC6 with her classic move set intact and a nifty new super move.  Since her appearance in the original Soul Calibur, Chinese sword master has been carving enemies up for years.
Zasalamel

“Know the power of the abyss!” Zasalamel returns to the stage of history wielding his iconic Death Scythe, Kafziel. Zasalamel first made his appearance in Soulcalibur 3 and has been a series staple ever since. He carries a deadly scythe, but he shouldn’t be underestimated even when the scythe is out of reach – he’s a magician, and even if he is killed his soul gets reborn in a new body with his memories intact.
