Resident Evil 2 shows off HUNK in new trailer

Capcom just released one more trailer for their recently released Resident Evil 2 remake. And this one is all about a great little easter egg in the original version of the game.

Some fans might remember “The 4th Survivor” scenario, the wave-based slughterfest that saw HUNK, the sole surviving Umbrella commando from the Raccoon City incident, fighting his way through human zombies, zombie dogs, lickers, and the scariest enemy in the game, Mr. X.

Resident Evil 2 is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Of course that’s only if you’re talking about the newly released remake. The original version has been out on the PS1 for more than 20 years. Although at this point, the archaic inventory management, backtracking, controls and other aspects really only appeal to those gamers looking for a taste of nostalgia, anyone else should stick to playing the remake.

If you’re not sold on picking up this new survival horror outing, Capcom is doing it’s hardest to convince you to drop some cash. In other words, there’s plenty of gameplay footage and other tidbits showing just how cool this new game is. There’s this campy live-action trailer you should take a look at. If you’re hungry for more undead action, there was a launch trailer for the game that also teased the inclusion of HUNK and Tofu. And if you want to see more of the game in action, Capcom has plenty of treats for you. There was a recently released batch of trailers showing off sultry Ada Wong. The company also revealed new parts of the story involving the Birkin family, including some completely new areas. And in case you’re wondering, many of the iconic enemies from the original game are making a return, like the Lickers.
