First GWENT: The Witcher Card Game expansion releases tomorrow
So the first major expansion, Crimson Curse, comes out tomorrow for iOS, Android and other devices.
The expansion to the already excellent adds dozens of new cards, over 100 in fact, featuring many new and returning characters from The Witcher canon. Keep your eyes peeled and you might spot one of your favorites. Each of the factions in the game are getting a few new cards, with a big chunk of the new cards being targeted at a new neutral faction that’s being expanded.
And thanks to the gothic and vampiric themes of the expansion itself, expect tons of new abilities, card effects and combos to echo this setup. There will likely be many a vampire deck floating around after the launch tomorrow.
As a reminder, today is your last chance to take advantage of the Crimson Curse pre-order offer. The pack comes with 40 Crimson Curse Kegs at a discounted price, the Blood Armor legendary leader skin for Unseen Elder, and an animated Crimson Curse cardback.
That offer for free cards and stuff expires at the end of the day, so pre-order by the end of today.
The Crimson Curse expansion will release on PC, PS4 and Xbox One tomorrow, March 28.
Check out the trailer for the expansion down below, if you want to get an idea of the high stakes story conflict that’s brewing, or just admire the gothic visuals.
